Europa used to be the local independent shop that you could rely on for mechanical work at prices far better than dealers. Not so anymore. They have become a "by the book shop" No matter how long the work takes, they charge you the book rate. Might as well go to the dealer: They drop off a loaner at your house and wash your car for comparable prices. |
Shop Comment Rich, We want to thank you for taking the time to write a review. Reviews help us get better at what we do, and ensures we take great care of our customers. Somehow we feel there has been some sort of misunderstanding. We recently worked on your BMW 328XI, which needed a battery. I can understand a battery for that vehicle is expensive. Unfortunately your battery needed to come directly from the dealership. When parts come from the dealership the cost is much higher than in the aftermarket. The battery for your vehicle is very specific to your car and needs to be programmed to the vehicle, this takes longer than a standard battery would due to programming. We did however reach out to the dealership in case we made any kind of error. We did learn that the dealership would have charged you more labor hours as well as a higher labor rate. In turn the battery would have cost approximately $75.00 dollars more than us. We always put our best foot forward to serve our valued clients. Kind Regards, Europa Imports |
